By accessing our website (alkarainstitute.com), submitting an admission application, enrolling in a diploma program, registering for masterclasses, or utilizing our digital services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws of India.
2. Admissions, Fees & Enrollment Policies
Enrollment in Alkara Institute programs is subject to candidate eligibility verification, seat availability, and fee payment rules:
- Seat Reservation: Application submissions do not guarantee admission. Seats are allocated strictly upon verification of documents and receipt of the mandatory seat reservation fee.
- Fee Structure & Schedules: Course fees must be cleared in accordance with the payment schedule specified during enrollment. Delay in fee payment may attract administrative late charges or suspension from practical laboratory access.
- Non-Transferability: Enrollments, student passes, course access credentials, and admission seats are non-transferable to third parties.
3. Student Code of Conduct & Kitchen Safety Rules
Practical culinary education requires strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and professional discipline:
- Kitchen Dress Code & Safety Gear: Enrolled students must wear prescribed chef coats, hairnets, aprons, and closed-toe non-slip kitchen shoes during practical laboratory sessions.
- Equipment Handling: Commercial ovens, gas burner ranges, knives, and machinery must be operated strictly under faculty supervision. Misuse or intentional damage to kitchen equipment will result in financial recovery and disciplinary action.
- Zero Tolerance Misconduct Policy: Alkara Institute maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, discrimination, verbal abuse, substance use, or academic dishonesty. The Institute reserves the right to immediately suspend or expel any offending student without refund of fees.
4. Intellectual Property Rights (IP)
All content available on our platform or imparted during training—including recipe formulations, potli masala ratios, curriculum notes, printed course manuals, video masterclasses, recipe JSON specifications, trademarks, logos, and the AMCC legacy asset archive—are the exclusive intellectual property of Executive Chef Alka Singh Tomar / Alkara Institute protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999.
Students and website users are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive license for personal learning only. You may NOT reproduce, commercially resell, distribute, stream, upload to digital file-sharing platforms, or teach Alkara proprietary formulations under a third-party commercial brand without explicit written consent from the Institute.
5. Photography, Media Release & Student Showcase
During campus sessions, guest masterclasses, and graduation ceremonies, Alkara Institute captures photographs, audio, and video recordings. By enrolling or attending events, you grant Alkara Institute an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, and broadcast your likeness, dish creations, and academic project media across our official website, social media channels, brochures, news broadcasts, and marketing materials for promotional and academic documentation purposes.
6. Placement Support & Career Disclaimer
While Alkara Institute provides 100% Placement Assistance Support for diploma graduates—connecting candidates with Taj Hotels, luxury resorts, commercial bakeries, and fine-dining establishments—final employment selection depends on individual student interview performance, attendance, culinary skill demonstration, and employer criteria. We do not guarantee unconditional employment offers.
7. Limitation of Liability & Health Warning
Culinary training involves handling hot oil, gas fires, sharp tools, and potential food allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish). Students participate in practical cooking labs at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, Alkara Institute and its faculty disclaim liability for accidental personal injury, minor burns, or allergic reactions resulting from failure to follow safety procedures or undisclosed medical conditions.
8. Governing Law, Arbitration & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
